Lulu Wild Is Coming to Colmore Food Festival 2026

Colmore Food Festival in Victoria Square, Birmingham

We are incredibly excited to announce that Lulu Wild will be participating in the Colmore Food Festival 2026, bringing our award-winning modern Chinese food to Victoria Square on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July 2026.

If you have never tried Lulu Wild before, this is your chance to taste what Birmingham has been talking about. If you are already a fan, come and find us in the square and say hello.

What Is the Colmore Food Festival?

Now in its 13th year, the Colmore Food Festival is one of the most celebrated free events in Birmingham's summer calendar. Held in Victoria Square, it draws together the best restaurants, bars, independent traders and producers from across the Colmore Business District for a weekend of food, drink and live entertainment.

In 2025, the festival welcomed a record 75,000 visitors across two days. The 2026 edition runs from 11am to 8pm on both Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July, and as always, entry is completely free.

It is the perfect occasion for food lovers across Birmingham and beyond to discover new restaurants, revisit old favourites, and experience the city's hospitality scene at its very best, all in one buzzing, open-air setting.

What Lulu Wild Is Bringing to the Festival

Colmore Food Festival is built around taster-sized portions that give visitors a genuine taste of what each restaurant does best, at accessible prices. We have put serious thought into what we are bringing to the stall this year, selecting dishes that showcase the bold, punchy flavours that define Lulu Wild's kitchen.

Expect beautifully crafted bites inspired by our main menu, the kind of food that stops you mid-conversation. Full details of our festival dishes will be announced closer to the date, so keep an eye on our social channels and this page for updates.

What we can promise is that it will be unmistakably Lulu.

Why Lulu Wild at the Festival Is Worth Seeking Out

Lulu Wild is not a typical restaurant, and this will not be a typical festival stall. Here is what sets us apart:

Modern Chinese food done with real craft. Our kitchen is rooted in the rich history of Chinese gastronomy, where the relationship between fresh food, flavour and wellbeing has always been taken seriously. Every dish we serve at the festival will reflect that same commitment, from the quality of the ingredients to the way each bite is put together.

Award-winning pedigree. Lulu Wild has earned its reputation as one of Birmingham's standout dining destinations since opening at Brindleyplace. Coming to the festival gives you a taste of that experience in the heart of the city.

A team that genuinely loves what it does. The people behind the stall are the same people who look after guests in the restaurant every day of the week. Expect warmth, knowledge, and a genuine enthusiasm for Chinese food and culture.

Come and Find Us at Victoria Square

We will be set up in Victoria Square, Birmingham for the full two days of the festival. The square is right in the heart of the city, easily reachable on foot from New Street Station, by tram, bus or car.

Loved What You Tasted? Come and Visit Us at the Restaurant

The festival stall is a taster. The full Lulu Wild experience is waiting for you just a ten-minute walk away at The Waters Edge, Brindleyplace.

At the restaurant, you get the full picture: an extraordinary two-floor venue where natural, earthy interiors downstairs give way to neon-lit, plush-red glamour upstairs. A cocktail menu, known as the Sip Expedition, built by a bar team with a genuine passion for innovation. A food menu that spans small plates, mains and sharing dishes, with highlights including aromatic crispy duck rolls, BBQ belly pork bao buns, kung po prawns, and wagyu steak with General Tso sauce.

When the sun is out, The Nest opens its retractable roof and the whole restaurant feels like a different city. It is the kind of place that makes a festival weekend feel complete.

Make a Weekend of It with Bottomless Brunch

Attending the festival on Saturday 4 July? Start the day properly with Lulu Wild's Bottomless Brunch before making your way to Victoria Square.

Free-flowing cocktails and bubbles alongside a carefully chosen selection of Chinese plates, dim sum, bao buns and beautifully rendered Asian flavours make for the ideal warm-up to a day of festival grazing. Tables on festival weekend will go quickly, so we strongly recommend booking ahead.

Book a Table for Colmore Food Festival Weekend

Come in before the festival, wind down with dinner afterwards, or make a full weekend of it with bottomless brunch on Saturday. Either way, we would love to have you.
